About Me
I am an American writer living in Bolzano, Italy, with my husband and two fat cats who run the household. I write speculative YA fiction.
Having moved across the world, I have discovered the meaning and importance of found family—something at the heart of all of my work. I am also drawn to memory and characters with a sense of humor, even when things get strange.
I recently signed with an indie publisher for my debut novel, currently slated for release in 2028. Until then, I’m deep in revision, worldbuilding, and working on several other projects.
Consider this a work in progress.
A few facts about me:
I am an oil painter
I have a Master’s Degree in Art Curation and worked with art galleries, museums and non profits in the states before moving to Italy with my husband.
I am trilingual
My own sense of humor is usually very close to that of the characters I write
My two cats are named after Frodo and Sam after The Lord of the Rings
My favorite novels of all time include- the Picture of Dorian Gray, East of Eden, I, Claudius, Ender’s Game, Geek Love and The Lord of the Rings (obviously).
I only began writing once I moved across the country and had absolutely nothing to do because I didn’t have a visa yet.
